* Join us if you are new to this work and feeling curious about whether grief tending in community could be of benefit to you.
* Perhaps you've been wondering about signing up for a longer workshop and want to try out some of the activities before diving deeper.
* Or you may have attended a Grief Tending event before and wish to experience the support of the circle at this time.
You can bring all types and expressions of grief, including bereavement, health issues, life changes; long-term grief, passed down through families and culture; pain for the natural world and for future generations; and grief that is stuck or frozen. All of this and more is welcome.

As we step into the waters of grief, we often discover that it also helps awaken our joy and our sense of aliveness.
Sharing our vulnerability and witnessing each other in our grief can be a strong medicine that helps bring us home to what it is to be fully human, in solidarity with each other and with the natural world.
In these times, as we seek new and better ways of supporting wellness and growing community and connection, being present with this most human of experiences may well be one of keys to bringing about deep personal and cultural transformation.

We will travel through the spiral of the Grief Tending in Community approach, and explore the 'gates of grief' map offered by Francis Weller, a key source for this work.
Connecting with what is resourcing and holding us in life at this time, we will create a strong container together as we begin to touch in on our grief.
We will tend what arises through a combination of work in pairs and in circle sharing and ceremony, and we will have a time of soothing and integration to finish.
